Premium Modified MABS

MABS​ stands for Methyl Methacrylate-Acrylonitrile-Butadiene-Styrene Copolymer. Most people in the trade just call it transparent ABS.

It's a modified engineering plastic. The trick is a core-shell design: a PMMA shell layer with the same refractive index as the ABS matrix. That match is what lets light pass through instead of scattering, so you get a clear part without losing the toughness ABS is known for.

We compound it in-house, which means we can dial the formula to your job. The standard lineup covers transparent MABS resin, general-purpose transparent MABS, translucent MABS, reinforced MABS, flame-retardant MABS, weather-resistant MABS, high-flow MABS and impact-modified MABS.

Since the company started up, we've been producing premium MABS, premium modified MABS and coloured MABS in volume-standard grades or custom runs, both are fine.

• Our modified MABS keeps the high light transmission typical of MABS. We tweak the formulation to lift impact strength, fixing the brittle issue you often get with pure PMMA. Great for structural parts that need both clarity and durability.

• We offer in-house tailored grades. UL94 V-0 flame retardant MABS for electronic assemblies. UV stabilized weather-resistant variants for outdoor exposure. Glass filled options deliver higher stiffness and better heat resistance. We don't just stock standard generic grades.

• Our high-flow MABS fills tricky thin-wall mold cavities smoothly. It runs at lower injection temperature and pressure. This cuts your power consumption and slows mold wear on your production line.

  Consistently Good Surface Quality From Our Formulation

• We fine-tune our formula to get smooth, glossy molded parts. Minimal flow marks and bubbles. Color dispersion stays even during tinting. Perfect for visible cosmetic housings in consumer electronics.

  Flexible Material Blending & Multiple Processing Options

• Our MABS works well with regular additives. It can be alloyed with ABS or PC. It supports injection molding, extrusion and thermoforming to match your manufacturing process.
