What is Dyed PA Pellet?

Dyed PA Pellet, or Colored PA Pellet in common terms, refers to a type of granular polymer material that takes polyamide (abbreviated as PA) as the base material. Through processes such as melt blending, dope dyeing or post-processing dyeing, pigments/dyes are uniformly dispersed in the polyamide resin, and finally the granular product with specific colors is obtained.

Dyed PA pellet can be divided into many items according to different standards, such as Dyed PA6 Pellet, Dyed PA66 Pellet, Dyed PA11 Pellet, Dyed PA12 Pellet, Dyed High-performance PA Pellet, Metallic Dyed PA Pellet, Special-effect Dyed PA Pellet. Main Disadvantages
1. Higher cost than virgin PA + color masterbatch due to additional pre-coloring and quality control links, pressuring small-batch, multi-variety production.
2. Poor color adjustment flexibility-fixed colors require re-production for changes, with long cycles and high costs.
3. Performance decline risk if using incompatible pigments or excessive additives, or due to resin degradation from repeated melting.
4. Strict inventory management for multiple colors, risking waste if products are discontinued.
