Ultra-low density polyethylene (ULDPE) is a modified form of polyethylene (PE). PE is a thermoplastic polymer obtained by the polymerization of ethylene (C2H4) molecules. ULDPE, based on PE, incorporates special comonomers and controls polymerization conditions to create more branched and segmented structures in its molecules, resulting in lower density, a wider molecular weight distribution, and more diverse molecular forms.
